This Lewis chess set is made from 3D laser scans of original pieces from the collections of National Museums Scotland. The King chess piece is 7cm tall.

Discovered in 1831 on the Isle of Lewis but dating back to the 12th Century, the Lewis Chessmen recall a time of feuding Viking lords and violent invasions.

The set comes in a presentation gift box, containing: 1 King, 1 Queen , 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Berserkers, 8 Pawns in ivory and brown.
